Rice Krispie's Treats

So two weeks ago Daniel and I were in Playa del Carmon shopping at Wal-mart. Playa is the main land across from Cozumel. We where buying food when I spotted Rice Krispie's. So I decided to find marshmallows and make Rice Krispie's Treats. Daniel's mom is staying with us so we made them together. I am practicing my Spanish with his mom and we are swapping recipes. It is lots of fun.
Her name is Hortencia. She is a very
kind women who is so giving. I just love her to death.
The Marshmallows are pink down here so we had strawberry Rice Krispie's Treats.
Anything that is from the states is cool so I buy
"I can't believe it's not butter" Just to feel at home.
The butter in the pan.

It was funny when we were making the treats because we were speaking Spanglish. The whole time.
The Finished Product

So when we were all done I ate a huge piece. Hortencia had a little piece. Throughout the week I pretty much ate the rest by myself. The strawberry made them taste different but it was not a bad different it was just fine. You should try it some time. Use the colored nursery marshmallows. You might switch sides.

Mi Casa es Tu Casa

So Daniel and I moved into this new house about 3 month ago. It is so cute. So I decided to take some pictures so you can all see how adorable it really is.
This is the corner, well kiddy-corner to our house. Good side walks and lighting with 2 to 3 benches on every block.
From across the street. Bet you can't tell that is a house. Well that is just the way houses are built down here in Mexico right next to the side walk.

Our walk way
We have an up starts patio. It is pretty nice up there. You can sit and watch the sun set and drink Pina if you come and visit. "Pina-Colada with out the Alcohal down here is just called Pina." Our Car Port

Our yard. I was thinking about planting grass and straightening it up but we are not going to stay very long and I would be sad to see it die so instead I don't look over there so I don't feel so bad. We have a turtle and an iguana. Not really sure how I feel about the iguana but at least it is a female which means it is only as big as my forearm instead of my whole leg. I can't seem to convince Daniel that relocation of the lizard is really the best option for everyone involved.

My Dinning Room which at this very moment is a bed room. But I will move back the Dinning Table this week. We just had guests in our house so we put up the extra bed.

My frist Bathroom. Yep I have a guest bathroom no more inviting my friends to walk into my bedroom.

My living room; cute right!

My Coffee table is now complete. I bought those decorative balls in Utah and one from Missy.

Heid do you like how I displayed my LOVE.

My lovely kitchen

I have a Fridge were the freezer does not ice over. You never now how blessed you are until your have a dumb freezer that gets all icy. And it is a huge fridge. I have to spend a lot more at the grocrey store to make it look full.

A double sink that is a gift from the heavens as well. For one reason more space to stick all the dishes before your kitchen looks like you need to wash the dishes again.

I have an Oven. A wonderful oven. It cooks, it bakes and it broilers. (is that a word) Man what a wonderful joy it can bring to once life. I also have a Microwave that Daniel bought for me for Vanetine's Day. A great present.
My adorible bedroom. That bed is to die for, so big and a great matrise.

My Lovely Bed

I have a safe. So all I need is a big picture covering it and then I will be the real deal.
It is like in the movies.
My bathroom, I love it, just love it.

Great Shower
Well that is my house. I love it and hope to never leave it until we grow to big for it. "Fingers crossed for both reasons."

In the Wild

So my visit to the states was a mega trip and there is just no way I am going to be able to blog it all in one sweep. Baby steps is the best way for me so camp out comes first.
This is mom and I over looking Bryce Canyon. I was so much fun on the camp out. We made good memories.

Dad collecting water from the spring. I drank from it as well. It was pretty good. And the whole time I was trying not to think of the deer that had just peed in it.
Kirsten and I stayed behind and drank more water while the others headed down the trail.

This is Ben playing golf/baseball. He is such a cutie. I am going to miss these guys.

We had a great talent night and for mom's talent she read to the kids it was so cute to see them all up close to Mom staring at every picture, as she read about Care Bears. "Care Bear Stare"

Do I need to say anything about this picture. I love it. My favorite picture of the camp out.And Alena's favorite. I bet you can guess why.

Look at those lips. Dirty but still kissable.

Lindsay and Shelby on the hike. It was so much fun to hang out with you Lindsay and meet your baby girl. She is so sweet and cute.

How many cute bums do you see?

ONE,
TWO, THREE

Three, I see Three!

The Camp Out was a Blast. Heidi thanks so much for organizing it this year. All the games were fun and I think you started some traditions with all the activities. Especially the talent night I am already thinking about what we can do next time. Thanks for all the fun guys.
