Katie's Birthday

I wanted to say Happy Birthday to Katie. I am so sorry that I am writing this so late. You are a great sister. Just like Missy wrote in her blog even though you are our sister-in-law. You have been around so long and we like you so much that I like to drop the in-law. So Katie thanks for being such a great sister. I love to learn from you. Things you have taught me are for example
1. To be more organized (I need more practice on that one)
2. How to know what to play at the beginning of a hymn.
3. Good and easy shrimp dinner ideas.
4. Great idea on how to create cute letters to display in my house.
5. Tips on how to be a good mom (You are a great mom.)
6. That being married is not all the scary. "Do you remember all the talks about getting married I used to be so scared and you would tell me how wonderful it is." You were right.

Thanks again Katie for being a part of our family and marrying Brad even though I told you not to when I first met you. It was all because he locked me in the closet. I don't know why but that was so traumatising to me as a kid. I now see it was just brothers and sisters being mean to each other. So thanks for not taking my advise. We love you tons.
Happy Birthday Katie.

p.s. Katie I don't even have a picture of you. I use to have a picture of you and me on the cruise if you have a copy of it send it to me in an email so I can past it on my blog. Love you tons.

Alexia's Birthday

Okay Alexia's Birthday this year was a special one. "Because I was there." No just kidding it was because she turned 8 and was baptized. I flew up to go to her baptism, I promised I would last year. It was so much fun. Lexi had a very cute cake that Heidi made for her. This was the cutest idea and I can't wait to make my own for a birthday down here.

She actually got two cakes one for her and her friends that in the end was to cute to cut before her grandma's saw it. (The purse) and the other one that a sister in her ward made. It was so beautiful. And they both tasted great.

How fun for Lexi she got two parties one with her friends and one with all her relatives. Her are some pictures of those events.

Lexi's baptism was so beautiful. Something funny now that you look back, but very stressful at the time was, when they got to the church for the baptism there was no water in the font. Poor Lexi thought that she was not going to get baptized. But the brothern started to feel it up and her uncle Nolan haled water to the font in 5 gallon jugs. We started just a little late in another room. Even though this happend it was okay because the spirit was still there and it was very strong. Here is a picture of Alexia being silly in her baptism dress. Happy Birthday sweetheart. I love you. You choose the right when you choose to get baptized. You are loved forever by your Aunt Becca. And always remember you are my favorite Lexi in the whole world.

Dido Baby

Yesterday was my first meeting for my new calling as the Secretary for the Relief Society. Let me just tell you this picture says it all. I have lived in Mexico for almost 2 years and am still struggling with the language. If I were to put a percentage on my level of skills. I would say; I understand about 67.8% of every thing spoken in Spanish. And I can speak about 18.1%. I really have to be pushing myself to even get these statistics. Which sometimes gives me a head ache. Yesterday was no different. But quite amazingly I understood everything I am suppose to do when it comes to my jobs. It was hard to pay attention for 2 hours though.

I will start having meeting every Tuesday. We have an activity every Thursday and we will do visits on Saturdays. I feel like I am going to be a very busy girl. But I am very excited. We already talked about visiting all our inactive's. My list has over 600 women and about 35 come on a good day. My list also has only 8 phone numbers. Two of which were wrong because they belonged to my President and the second councilor. So like I said my work is cut out for me.

The best thing of this whole situation is that I was called by the Lord and He knows my circumstances. He knows that I have difficultly in the language but He still called me. Therefore I know He will help me. Maybe this is my answer to my pleas at night for help with learning the language.

Happy Birthday Asher

Happy Birthday Asher. I am so glad that Kristian blogs at least once a day so that I can see how he grows. I have seen this little guy 2 times in my life. But he is close to my heart all because of blogging. Asher I am sorry that I am late at saying Happy Birthday. You are such a cuttie. I just love this picture of him. He is consentrating so hard on the flame. The supper-man idea is a fun idea. Happy Birthday little one. I miss you.

Life is Great

As most of us know it was conference weekend. I love conference. It helps me stop and think where I am in my life. The talks were just what I needed to hear as always. Yesterday Daniel and I decided we should set personal goals that we related to the topics in conference. I am so glad to be a member of the true church. We have been so very blessed. And I am very grateful to my Heavenly Father who knows me and takes care of Daniel and I as well as my family.

God Be With You Til We Meet Again

On March 28 my Grandma Teuscher died. She had just turned 87 in February. Her funeral was held today in Idaho. I was unable to go but my family said it was very nice. I am so grateful for the gospel that teaches us about where our loved ones are once they die. They are taken home to that God who gave them life.Alma 40:11 She lived a good life and so I know that she is at rest. She is with her husband who died a few years ago. As well as her parents, brothers and sisters. She is also with her two sons that died at infancy. What a glorious day it must have been when she got to meet her family again on the other side. I know that she loves me and will watch over me and my family. After last conference when Elder Jeffery R. Holland spoke of Ministering Angels it gave me a peace of mind to know that my grandma is now one of my Angels. "Seen or unseen they are always near." Ensign Nov 2008 page 29 She went home to her Father In Heaven. Grandma Tuescher, I will miss you. We all will miss you. "God Be With You Til We Meet Again."

All I can do is just laugh. You are so adorable. I want to kiss you in this picture but where without getting mud all over me too.
