Campeche it is about 2 hours outside of Merida and 7 hours away from Cozumel. It is a beautiful city. Beginning in the 17 century, Campeche was involved in many pirate battles. Spain built a wall around the city to protect it from European takeover and marauding cutthroats. 
Campeche was my favorite city. It was beautiful, on the coast. It had green hills. People were friendly and they had grass in their yards. Now a little slide show of Campeche and then on to the next adverture.
